Hi, I'm Peter
I like making sites faster and cloud bills smaller. Right now, that's mostly at Vividly!
Peter Rauscher

About

I'm currently a senior software engineer at Vividly, working on tools for CPG brands. CS at Stevens. Most of my career has been backend and infra: distributed systems, query optimization, cloud spend. I like the unshiny wins that move graphs in the right direction. I like to make apps that feel instant, services that are cheap to run, and systems that are painless to scale. Off hours I tinker with custom agent harnesses, eval loops, and a small software factory of my own.

Hackathons

I like the challenge of building something in a short timeframe, forcing you to focus on only what really matters.
